Welcome to Coffee & Chlorophyll

Hi, I'm Morgan.  So glad you found me here in my little corner of the internet—usually I’m out in my garden!

I'm a backyard gardener, hobby kitchener, do-it-yourselfer. I love being out in nature, and especially the wild birds who visit my backyard.   I love all things green and drinking copious amounts of coffee, especially paired together!  Can you say iced coffee and garden therapy?! Yes please!!!!

My garden used to grow in a very hot and arid town in central California, but a few years ago, I traded the suburbs in for rural Wyoming. Now I live out my days, with one very handsome Hunter. When we're not exploring the surrounding forest, chasing rainbows (trout, that is!), or stumbling upon wild raspberry brambles, you can find me with sun on my bun and dirt on my shirt. 👩‍🌾

In other words, you can find me in my garden, with all the birds, butterflies, and bees. Unless it’s winter…

Which is long up here, in the mountain west! In winter, I hunker down over piles of seed catalogs, with some sort of delicious treat I’ve baked, and dream about next year’s garden. Or I bundle up, and head out into the blustery winter air to walk alongside the river, in search of birds. I love birds!

Coffee & Chlorophyll was started as a way for me to focus my energy on the more positive things in my life, especially my beloved backyard garden.  I guess you could say that I am an aspiring optimist, always searching for that lovely, metaphorical place where the sun shines, the birds chirp, and the sweetest strawberries grow.  Along the way, my creativity has been bolstered, and I have gained the motivation to live the life I love to live. Oh yah, and that place is literally being manifested right in my yard!

I hope Coffee & Chlorophyll encourages you to find the beauty in your life as well!
